Senior Controller
Location: Longview, TX (On-site)
Status: Full-Time | Non-Exempt | Start: Immediate
Reports to: Owners / Shareholders
What You’ll Do
As Senior Controller, you will lead all aspects of CCI Group’s financial operations, from daily transaction oversight to strategic planning with ownership. You’ll ensure our financial integrity, streamline processes, and provide the insights that guide smart decision-making.
Oversee daily financial cycles including AP/AR, bank reconciliations, payroll, and job costing accuracy.
Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes; prepare timely, accurate financial reporting in line with US GAAP.
Partner with leadership on cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
Serve as primary finance lead in our INNERGY ERP system rollout and ongoing education.
Develop, document, and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Manage external relationships, including auditors, CPA, tax advisors, banks, and insurers.
Provide clear, actionable reports to non-financial stakeholders across departments.
Support cross-functional alignment with Project Management, Sales, and Operations.
8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership in a controller or senior finance role.
CPA license required; strong GAAP knowledge and experience with technical accounting research.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field (Master’s preferred).
INNERGY ERP experience highly preferred; familiarity with SQL and data mining tools a plus.
Proficient in QuickBooks and other accounting software.
Strong written and verbal communication; ability to clearly explain financial matters to non-financial stakeholders.
Proven ability to develop and mentor team members, streamline processes, and maintain strong internal controls.
ERP implementation and process improvement experience is highly desirable.
Standard office hours, Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
Flexibility as required for month-end, year-end, and audit deadlines.

Communicate clearly in person, by phone, and email.
