As part of HCA Healthcare’s major investment in the Kingwood Medical Center, CCI Group was selected to provide comprehensive casework solutions across multiple departments. Working with Gould Turner and Associates (architect) and Brasfield & Gorrie (general contractor), our team engineered, fabricated, and installed custom casework packages designed for durability, cost efficiency, and clinical workflow.

Challenge

This multi-million-dollar expansion and renovation required high-performance casework delivered under tight timelines while supporting HCA’s system-wide cost containment goals. Beyond casework fabrication, the project team needed a partner who could provide integrated design recommendations and value-engineered solutions without sacrificing compliance or aesthetics.

Our Solution

Design & Engineering: Collaborated with architects and contractors to align layouts, coordinate MEP clearances, and propose value-driven design modifications.

Materials & Finishes: Solid-surface bullnose edging to significantly improve the lifespan of the products; integrated hardwood and trim packages to unify finishes.

Fabrication & QA: CNC precision machining and edge-banded finishes for durability and infection control; pre-assembled modules to accelerate install phases.

Installation: Phased delivery and installation to accommodate ongoing hospital operations; provided full-service scope from casework to trim, ensuring consistent quality across all spaces.
