Ambulatory Surgery Center Casework & Finishes

CCI Group partnered with Skiles Group to deliver a complete millwork and finishes package for the Surgery Center of Plano, a state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery facility designed to accommodate a wide range of outpatient and short-stay procedures. With architectural leadership from Lyman Davidson Dooley, Inc. and ownership by HCA, the project required a cohesive blend of durable hospital-grade casework, specialty stainless steel units, and high-end finishes.

Challenge

The Surgery Center of Plano required an all-encompassing interior millwork package that balanced cleanability, infection-control compliance, and patient-focused aesthetics. With multiple material types—including stainless steel, resin panels, and wood trim—the project demanded close coordination to ensure every element met healthcare durability standards while aligning with the architectural vision.

Our Solution

Design & Engineering: Partnered with architects and GC to integrate specialty casework, trim, and finishes into a single cohesive design; aligned layouts with medical equipment and MEP systems.

Materials & Finishes: Plastic laminate and stainless steel casework; paired with solid surface countertops, resin paneling, and wood trims for a modern, durable finish.

Fabrication & QA: CNC machining for precision across multiple material types; pre-assembled units to accelerate installation and minimize on-site disruption.

Installation: Executed phased installation in surgical suites, support spaces, and public areas with dust-control and infection-control safeguards.

Results

• Delivered a 20,000 SF, turnkey millwork package spanning surgical, staff, and patient areas.

• Stainless steel casework aligned with the facility’s decontamination area requirements, providing durability and compliance where it matters most.
